Staghorn Sumac (rhus typhina): Looks like staghorn sumac, a hardy deciduous shrub/tree with colorful fruit and bright fall color. Flowers are followed (on females) by red berries in slim, pinecone-shaped structures. It grows best in full sun and is quite drought tolerant. Aggressive growth habit. Usually reaches 5 to 10 meters tall.
